najlepsie su nove, cerstve strikovacie projekty, hlavne ked budu pre nove, cerstve babatka. (neni som tehotna, neboj mami... budem teta). Bude to detska prikryvka.

---this is my 'spin the scraps' project, finished. Would you believe that I've spun 110g of various scraps and it looks quite good? The scraps were mostly from my batts and merino tops. 3ply sort of DK weight. Oh, and it doesn't show, but it's sparkly! There's quite a bit of angelina. I'm thinking Mitered mittens by Elizabeth Zimmermann.
totok je moj projekt 'spradiem vsetky zbytky' a je to hotovo. Necakala som, ze ked spradiem 110g roznych kuskov kadejakych chlpov, ze to bude vyzerat dobre. A nielen to, je to nad moje ocakavania pekna vlnka. A leskla! zapriadla som trblietave vlakna do toho... len to nevidno. Hmmm snad Mitered mittens palciaky od Elizabeth Zimmermann ze by to mohli byt?

and my magnificent Mjolinor (by Greensleeves) spindles arrived too. (I've ordered two. Because.) The larger one reminds me of the parasol mushroom. Love. I've spun a little sample - Brick: merino top, it was in the shop a while ago.a prisli grandiozne vretienka Mjolinor od Greensleeves (2ks, lebo.). To vacsie vyzera uplne ako jedla bedla. Spriadla som na nom malu vzorku, merino chlpy vo farbe Brick, co boli nedavno v obchode.

Oh yes, I know what you mean about new projects - so much excitement and anticipation. Your scrap yarn is absolutely gorgeous... so are those spindles. I've just been to take a look at the Greensleeves website and I'm smitten! I better start saving my pennies up.... :)
Oh! That baby blanket looks so sweet already - can't wait to see the finished product :)
Your spun scraps look beautiful as does the baby blanket.
